Hull turned over on saw
horses. Optical illusion makes it look like starboard side is more bowed
than port side and that bow transom has an angle on the starboard side,
but not the port side. I used 1 X 4's instead of 2 X 4's on the transom.
I also used a gusset plate on the chines at the bow because of the pressure
caused by the bend to the chines. When hull is turned over this way the
sides spring in and you need to add 2 X 4's to hold them back to the width
they were while on the strongback.
Before taking the hull off the strongback be sure to mark each station on the keelson and sides.
